Covering the Bases: Tuesday, April 30th
Is your lineup Premium Approved? In this space, CheeseIsGood, STLCardinals84, or fathalpert will break down the slate from top-to-bottom like no one else in the industry can – exploring the matchups from every angle, steering you toward the best plays on the day, and helping you become a better and more complete DFS player as you continually expose yourself to the “process” and the “why,” rather than just looking at the “what.” Have a boat? We’ll teach you how to fish.
Tuesday, April 30th
Happy Tuesday, Grinders! Cheese needed the day off today for his birthday (Happy Birthday Dave!), so I’ll have you covered for this evening’s action.
Unfortunately, I have also brought mother nature with me. An early glance at Kevin Roth’s weather forecast has a “red/orange” designation in Kansas City, a solid “orange” in Chicago and Texas, and a “yellow/orange” in Minnesota. That’s four games with real issues, and some of the best pitchers and hitters on the slate are in those games.
This will definitely be a night where we need to monitor the weather closely up until roster lock. I am writing this article under the assumption that the TB/KC game will get postponed, as that one seems the worst of the bunch. I will write up the other games as if they are going to play, but just make sure you adapt to the pre-lock weather forecast as appropriate.
Let’s get down to business!
