Good day, Grinders! We have the usual split slate Wednesday on tap today, and there are actually 16 games scheduled after the Royals/Cardinals game got rained out last night. They will play a double-header today. There are five day games and 11 night games on the slate, but all the major sites are excluding the late afternoon Diamondbacks/Padres game from the early docket. FanDuel is the only site that is including Game 2 of the KC/STL double-header on their main slate, so you will have either 10 or 11 games on that slate depending on what site you are playing on.

Let’s start, as usual, with a look at the early slate!

I am just going to break this down on a game-by-game basis since we have just four games to analyze.

Do you think just going Scherzer/Cole is viable in cash tonite? You get a bunch of cheap RHBs vs a bad Daniel Norris. If the Marlins can knock Turnbull around, seems the should be able to hit Norris You can plug in Anderson, Castro, Ramirez, and still get some decent bats to fill out your roster

Came to ask the exact same question. I’ve got at least a half respectable lineup with Cole/deGrom for a cash game with three marlins in there. Is it better to take one out for Fried to get a better hitter?

If you can get two of the three elite pitchers, I don’t see a problem with it. All comes down to what we end up getting offered for value bats.

That DET/MIA game is just a dumpster fire of “who knows what will happen.” I’d be hesitant to roll 3-4-5 hitters from that game, but if we can get someone like Morales for value, it’s more viable to go 2 top arms.
