CS:GO DFS Overview: Sunday, May 17th

Slate Overview

We’re down to the final few matches of Road to Rio, and it’s been quite the wild ride. All three of the matches feature favorites of at least -225, which is interesting this late in the respective tournaments. Only one of the matches features a ton at stake, which can make for some tricky decion-making as motivation clearly comes into play. The big one is Winstrike taking on Spirit in the RTR: CIS final. Winstrike will attempt to avenge their loss to them in group play, this time with much larger stakes. The winner will take home $15,000 and 1600 RMR points while the loser settles for $10,000 and 1500 points. Hard Legion and Virtus.pro will duke it out in the consolation match with a mere $1000 difference in third and fourth. Last, we have the match to determine 5th vs. 6th place in the RTR: Europe between Ninjas in Pyjamas and Heretics. Similar to above, there is only $1000 difference between these spots so motivation could be limited.

Winstrike (+225) vs. Spirit (-285)
