For the sake of reviewing their mobile site here, we will stick with the mobile option. Sign in to your DailyJoust account or register through the RotoGrinders links and you immediately reach the DailyJoust Mobile Homepage, which is chalked full of available features. View ‘My Contests’
On the “My Contests” page you can view your live contests, upcoming contests, pending contests and past contests from your mobile device. Wondering how your lineup did the night before? Check it easily here. On the run and curious how you are holding up that night? Well you can see live scoring from your smart phone or tablet on DailyJoust mobile! You can see which lineups you have yet to fill also and check out how your team looks before the lineups close for every team. You can also edit your teams, but that description will come more in the next section.
Create A Contest, Enter Contests and Edit Teams from Your Mobile Device
That’s right Grinders, you can edit your squads on the run right from your mobile phone or tablet. You can view the Main Lobby page from your phone and select which leagues you want to join. From there, you can view the player pool by each position. Select your 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, OF’s and SP all on the run. You select the position you wish to view and the player pool screen pops up. Want to narrow it down further? Well you can search by all the available match-ups that day. Say you want to stack the Rockies at Coors? Well just select the Colorado game and pick out their starting players, and boom you are ready to go. You can also search by player name and select how many players you want to show up on each page per position!
But that’s not all, you can also go in and edit your teams until lineups close and here’s the kicker, you can create contests from your smartphone or tablet. First, decide whether you want to set up a league with 3-10 players or a head-to-head match up. Then select the sport you wish to create a contest in, then choose the start date for that game. You can also select an entry fee(between free to $5 to $535!). Last, you can pick the salary cap settings you wish to use(regular 1 mil cap, high 1.2 mil cap or low .9 mil cap) and the prize structure for your event. Winner take all? They have it. 50/50 leagues and top-3 paid as well!
Chat, Alerts and Promotions
One of the best features of the DailyJoust Mobile site is your ability to view the same chat room you would on their regular home page. You can yuck it up with opponents and discuss all the latest DJ happenings with their owners from your mobile device. Just select the “Chat” option from the mobile home page and you are ready to start talking as easily as you could send a text message. They also have a Promotions page, where you can view the best promos being run on DailyJoust. And if you pay any attention to RG at all, you know that DJ runs some of the best promos out there. Their alerts are another critical feature of both their regular site as well as their mobile page. If a player is not on their team’s lineup card for that date, the player will show up in RED where as players who are on the lineup card that day are shown in bold. Struggling to put together a late lineup just became incredibly easy from your smartphone as you can join leagues, check who’s starting and submit your squad in a matter of minutes! This was already an incredible offering from DailyJoust, that is now available on their mobile site as well.
