Tennis DFS Picks for ATP – Hertogenbosch and DraftKings Tournaments
Viktoriya Tomova: She is coming in as a -185 favorite and with her better performances in the past year on grass. It’s a good way to get access to a solid play for under $9000. The Tennis DFS optimal tool suggests she’ll find a place on the top team over 20% of the time, and the ownership should fall short of that.
Victoria Azarenka: Ousted early at Roland Garros after a withdraw in Rome, odds makers are clearly not concerned of a repeat performance on the Grass in the Netherlands. She is a -1400 favorite according to Draftkings sportsbook. While she is no longer the player she once was as a former world #1, we can still expect – fairly – a smooth(ish) 1st round disposal of Natalija Stevanovic (currently ranked 231st in the world).
Jule Niemeier: She was able to advance all the way to the quarterfinals at Wimbledon last season, past names like Lesia Tsurenko, Anett Kontaveit, and Xiyu Wang. She also beat another player on her way by the name of Heather Watson, who happens to be her opponent on Monday. At -170 odds and a reasonable salary of 8400, it’s a nice way to gain access to a 21% optimal player.
