Dinkpiece Jumps Into The Top 10!
Welcome back to another week of the Grinder Leaderboard and Rankings Update. We have reached the time in the year where there are two major focuses in the sports world, hockey and basketball. Yes there are PGA events out there for DFS gamblers, but those aren’t daily like the NHL, NBA and CBB games. So what we are seeing in the rankings is a derivative of the success that these players have in those three fields. Unlike December and January, where the sports world was running rampant and players were moving up and down the board like crazy, there is a time of peace where we can see who the true experts of basketball and hockey really are. So let’s jump into some headlines, shout outs and general info about the rankings this week.
Headline Story: Dinkpiece Jumps From #14 to #10
Our headline story of the week comes with a player who has received a lot of attention lately from this rankings article because of his leaps and bounds up the board each week. Time after time I warned Grinder Nation to look out, and that we might be looking at a top 10 player, and he has proven me right. Dinkpiece has used consistent NBA success to catapult himself up the leader board. This is one Grinder that must be relieved that the NBA lockout got resolved, because he is cashing in huge right now.
Movers and Shakers: Three Players Make Big Upward Jumps
We have three players this week who tore it up and sent shock waves up and down the leader board. First, with the third largest jump of the week, Reignonu continues to climb the rankings and now stands in #63 overall after moving up 9 places this week. Our 2nd largest upward move of the week belongs to Praiseworthy who used an incredible week to move up 10 spots to #47 overall. Great job to Praiseworthy and congratulations on your success this week. This weeks biggest jump belongs to a guy that has made similar leaps as the a fore mentioned Dinkpiece. He has been climbing the board each week trying to find himself in the top ten and we may soon be talking about him there. Congratulations to Jayhawkz274 on earning the biggest jump of the week, moving up 15 spots and now sits in the 29th place overall. Congrats to all these guys and to anyone who made a jump, sorry if I couldn’t get to you but that doesn’t make your success any less impressive!
New Names On The Board: 2 New Players Aboard + 1 Returns
We had 3 players who could be considered “new” this week, but one of those players had spent time on the leader board for awhile before briefly dropping out of the top 100. Well FFFC Finalist Highrdhoosiers has returned to the top 100 with a big week and stands at #80 overall. Welcome back Highrdhoosiers. Of the two members new to the board, Beastin crept up and moved into the #99 hole, with hopes and aspirations to solidify a consistent place on the board moving forward. Our other newest player used an incredible week to find himself at #78 overall, SocrDave. Great work, SocrDave and good luck moving forward.
