Additional Info
- The winners of events 1, 2, 3, 5 and 6 will get a free entry to the $200 buy-in Main Event!
- The winners of events 1, 2, 3, 5 and 6 will also get a customized-avatar on DraftDay!
- Main Event Seat Satellite Day – On May 24th there will be two satellite qualifiers for the Main Event! The first will be a $10 buy-in with a 4 seat guarantee. The second a $50 buy-in with a 5 seat guarantee.
- The Player of the Series will win up to $2,000 in prizes. The first $1,000 is guaranteed, and the next is earned if the Player of the Series beats Sirius XM’s Kay Adams in a heads-up freeroll
- The second through eleventh place finishers in the Player of the Series race will be entered into a private 10-man game for $1,000 in cash. This will pay out as follows:

3rd Place: $150
4th Place: $100
5th Place: $75

7th Place: $25

How to Prepare
Each contest will allow for multiple entries, with the number of entries allowed varying per event. If you’re not sure which events you want to play, here’s a brief overview of each game-type:
Warm-Up – The warm-up is your standard salary cap game. There’s a huge guarantee and small buy-in price, which will create an uber-large field to play in. I would expect an overlay of around $1,000 1 based on previous DraftDay guarantees, making this event a great value to play in.
NL/AL-Only – In the same fashion that season-long leagues often have NL-Only or AL-Only formats, DraftDay will provide the same variety in their Daily Fantasy contests.
Hit It and Split It – The Hit It & Split It is an innovative and dynamic contest where if your fantasy squad for the day hits a certain number, you split the entire prizepool evenly with anyone who hit that number.
Turbo – The Turbo contest will consist of the early MLB games only. It makes for a great experience to see all players on all teams playing at the same time, and then to have all contests done within 3-4 hours and winning payments processed just in time for the 90k salary cap.
90k Salary Cap – The 90k Salary Cap is a reduced cap game that forces users to select less-well-known players, and less-obvious choices. In theory, it is a more challenging game-type for more experienced and advanced Daily Fantasy Grinders.
Double-Up – The Double-Up is exactly what the name hints at…if you make the top-half of the field, you double your buy-in to $50!
Main Event – The Main Event is exactly what it sounds like…it’s kind of a big deal. All satellite winners are automatically entered into the M.E., but you also have the option to buy directly in. With a $20,000 guarantee, you can expect around 100 entrants to this event. You can qualify through the variety of satellites DD offers.
Satellites to the Main Event – Satellites are offered daily on Draftday for a buy-in of $1-$25, each giving the winner a seat to the Main Event. The satellites are labelled in the DraftDay lobby with a red [Q] next to the event. In addition to the daily qualifiers, DraftDay is having two big satellite qualifiers on May 24th. The first will be a $10 buy-in with a 4 seat guarantee. The second a $50 buy-in with a 5 seat guarantee.
