DRAFT Launches 2018 NFL Best Ball Contests

DRAFT has wasted no time. Even though the 2017 regular season just ended, the fast-growing site is already running NFL Best Ball contests for the 2018 NFL season.

The popular Best Ball concept is one familiar to many in fantasy sports, as it allows people to “draft and forget” their teams. It gives users all the fun of a fantasy football draft without the headache of weekly roster management. The concept is simple: Draft an 18-man team and take the highest scores each week for the allotted roster requirements. The team with the most points at the end of the season wins the contest.

RotoGrinders is proud to be a partner of DRAFT, and we plan on providing exclusive content for their Best Ball contests that will include free homepage articles and Premium content available to users who sign up for DRAFT through RotoGrinders.

Editor’s Note: Use promo code GRINDERS when you sign up for DRAFT and get a free $3 contest entry and THREE months of RotoGrinders DRAFT Premium content!

The rules of Best Ball on DRAFT are straightforward and easy to understand.

You will join a contest (typically 10 or 12 entrants, but it can vary) and once it has filled, the draft will start. Given a set time to make a draft pick, the contest entrants will each draft an 18-player team that, at a minimum, must have one QB, two RBs, three WRs, one TE, and one FLEX (an additional RB/WR/TE).

Each week, the eight-highest scoring players for QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, TE, and FLEX (highest scored RB/WR/TE that hasn’t already had their score counted) will accumulate points for the team, while the other 10 scores will not count. The scoring system is as follows:
