Good afternoon Grinders! Welcome to our newest addition to DRAFT Premium. Each day, I will go over the NBA slate with tier rankings for head-to-head, three man, and six man drafts. I’ll also provide a brief slate analysis as to how to attack drafts for the slate.
A couple notes to remember about DRAFT contests. One, there is no salary cap so you’re not worried about fitting players in on a budget. Raw fantasy points is what matters most, not the popular point per dollar. Second, while there is no late swap, if a player is ruled out, you will be able to swap them out. For more information on how this works, read the DRAFT Swap Rules Page – for this reason you can take some marginal chances in the later rounds on players that are questionable to play. Last, roster requirements are two guards, two forwards, and one center. All analysis and rankings will be based on that.
Slate Overview
| Road Team | Home Team | Vegas Line | Over/Under | Away Total | Home Total | Game Time (ET) | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Toronto Raptors | at | Washington Wizards | WAS-2.0 | 214.5 | 106.3 | 108.3 | 7:00 PM |
| Cleveland Cavaliers | at | Indiana Pacers | IND-1.0 | 204.0 | 101.5 | 102.5 | 8:00 PM |
| Oklahoma City Thunder | at | Utah Jazz | UTA-6.0 | 206.0 | 100.0 | 106.0 | 10:30 PM |
Three critical Game 6’s tonight as Toronto, Cleveland, and Utah look to close their series out with wins. Only one of those teams is favored though and all the spreads are close so the likelihood of a blowout game is minimal. LeBron James is the top overall choice with Russell Westbrook, John Wall, Victor Oladipo, and DeMar DeRozan rounding out the top five. There are only two man and three man drafts available, so it’s just a straight forward draft by projection kind of day. As such I’ve only ranked the top 10 guards and forwards and the top 5 centers.
Good luck and if you have any questions, leave them in the comments!
