DRAFT NBA Value Watch: Monday, April 16th

Aaron Hendrix will be bringing Premium subscribers his tiers for head-to-head, three-man, and six-man drafts on DRAFT. Included will be strategy discussion, options for the day’s slate and players that might go overlooked on the DRAFT platform.

Monday, April 16th

Miami at Philadelphia (-6.5) O/U 215.5
San Antonio at Golden State (-9.5) O/U 205.5

Hello Grinders. Welcome to our newest addition to DRAFT Premium. Each day, we will go over the NBA slate with tier rankings for head-to-head, three man, and six man drafts. We’ll also provide a brief slate analysis as to how to attack drafts for the slate.

A couple notes to remember about DRAFT contests. One, there is no salary cap so you’re not worried about fitting players in on a budget. Raw fantasy points is what matters most, not the popular point per dollar. Second, while there is no late swap, if a player is ruled out, you will be able to swap them out. For more information on how this works, read the DRAFT Swap Rules Page – for this reason you can take some marginal chances in the later rounds on players that are questionable to play. Last, roster requirements are two guards, two forwards, and one center. All analysis and rankings will be based on that.

Would you expect a bounce-back from Aldridge game 2? Or might Green be the more dependable choice, despite projections?

    Thanks!

I do expect a bounceback and the Spurs make adjustments that make this game closer but weirdly enough, “(player-popup #draymond-green)Draymond Green”:/players/draymond-green-13976’s role is “safer” in the Warriors offense. Pop could literally do anything tonight with his rotations so if you want a safer player I’m actually ok with Green over Aldridge. But I do think Aldridge has a better Game 2 than his Game 1. The problem is the Warriors are double teaming him.
