Sunday, March 11th

Good afternoon Grinders! Welcome to our newest addition to DRAFT Premium. Each day, I will go over the NBA slate with tier rankings for head-to-head, three man, and six man drafts. I’ll also provide a brief slate analysis as to how to attack drafts for the slate.

A couple notes to remember about DRAFT contests. One, there is no salary cap so you’re not worried about fitting players in on a budget. Raw fantasy points is what matters most, not the popular point per dollar. Second, while there is no late swap, if a player is ruled out, you will be able to swap them out. For more information on how this works, read the DRAFT Swap Rules Page – for this reason you can take some marginal chances in the later rounds on players that are questionable to play. Last, roster requirements are two guards, two forwards, and one center. All analysis and rankings will be based on that.

3:30 PM EST: Golden State (-5) at Minnesota O/U 224.5
4:00 PM EST: Utah at New Orleans NO LINE
5:00 PM EST: Sacramento at Denver NO LINE
7:00 PM EST: Houston (-12.5) at Dallas O/U 214.0
7:30 PM EST: Indiana at Boston (-6.5) O/U 208.5

Drafts will need to be done early as the slate includes a 1:00 pm EST game between the Raptors and Knicks. Nine games in total today with plenty of fantasy potential. It’s between LeBron James and Anthony Davis for the top overall pick, but given that LeBron is playing in the game with the highest total and Davis has to face off against the defensive-minded Jazz, I’ll give the edge to LeBron. Let’s take a quick look at projected values and how they break down by position.
