Dustin Johnson – He’s ahead of the field because of his dominant recent form. In his last action on U.S. soil, he wiped the floor with the competition in Hawaii, and he also ranks second in all-time earnings at this event. If I get the top pick on DRAFT, I will take DJ. If he falls anywhere below the top pick and you get him, count your lucky stars.
Rory McIlroy – Look, I’m not 100% sold on McIlroy this week, but there’s no reason he should be projected below 15 other golfers. That’s just silly. If he falls anywhere below the 4th or 5th overall pick, be ready to pounce at a bargain selection. He clearly has the ability to win this tournament even though it’s his first appearance. Class is permanent.
