Valero Texas Open
Golfers I Am Overweight On
Charley Hoffman – Hoffman loves playing this event and loves playing in Texas, and his record is nearly flawless at TPC San Antonio. He has teed it up at this event eight times. He’s made the cut all eight times. He won here back in 2016. He leads the all time money list at this event. If you are looking for a course horse, this is your guy. He is fine as a first round pick in any format.
Adam Scott – Scott continues to be a solid tee-to-green player, but he can’t make a putt to save his life. If he just gets one week where he gets hot with the putter, he could quietly climb the leaderboard. I have a sneaky suspicion that this might just be that week. Though he hasn’t played here in seven years, he does have a win on this course, and Australian players are notoriously good in windy conditions.
