Updated Scoreboard

DraftDay has taken real-time data delivery for fantasy sports to a new level by releasing an improved Live Scoring feature. All columns are sortable, making for not only a more efficient, but a potentially educational experience while you navigate your GPP scoreboards. The entire experience is also faster than its predecessor. Check out the walkthrough video below, along with a description some of RotoGrinders favorite enhancements to the new DraftDay scoreboard:

Projected Points Column – This is probably Grinders’ favorite addition. You can sort the entire GPP field by Projected Points, which is a function of that player’s Minutes Remaining and their Salary. This takes the GPP experience to a whole new level. You no longer have to sift through hundreds of entries to try and determine where you really stand in an event, this can quickly, and relatively accurately, tell you where you’re projected to finish. This will save Grinders a ton of time during the dreaded Sunday-to-Monday night wait period in NFL.

PR (Players Remaining) Column – This column shows you how many players your opponents have remaining, and you can hover-over to see which players specifically are remaining and how many minutes they have left. Very helpful in gauging your chances vs. that team quickly.

% Drafted – This shows the percentage of the field in your GPP which drafted this player

Sortable Price & Points Columns – Easily view and sort by a Player’s Price or Points for that night. These columns are helpful, but also educational and entertaining while you watch the games live.

Hide Common Players – Check a box to hide players you share in common with your opponent, and focus on who you really need to win the contest

Contest Nav-bar – A new banner above your scoreboard allows you to quickly jump from one GPP Contest you are in to the next. This is an awesome addition for the hardcore Grinder, and should save some time.

Hover-Over Stats/Show Full Stats – You now have the option to either hover over a player name to see that player’s full stat-line, or you can check to ‘Show Full Stats’ within the scoreboard.

Note: Depending on when you are reading this, you might need to hit the ‘Try Our Beta Stat Page’ button to enable the new view of the scoreboards.

DraftDay All Access Pass

Rounding out the recent big additions to DraftDay, we have the All Access Pass. The All Access Pass is designed for players who aren’t fond of large field events, which are more difficult to win. It’s a series of 10 fantasy NFL and NBA games with only 25 entrants and $250 in cash prizes to be won.

You simply pay $10 upfront, and get access to 10 games with a $25 prizepool over the course of 7 days. Here’s a sample schedule from the first event held on December 2nd, 2012:

Benefits of All Access Pass:

As you can see, there’s a lot going on over at DraftDay this week. Grinders won’t want to miss out on the awesome guarantees in the DDC. And definitely check out the new scoreboard when you get a chance. If you’re not yet a member of DraftDay you can use any of the links in this article to join, and get access to the Grinders Incentives DraftDay Daily Research Tools. Best of luck!
