DraftKings AFL DFS Picks and Projections
Lin Jong – M – $2,500: Jong makes his first appearance for the Bulldogs in 664 days after injuries have curtailed his career. He has overcome a hamstring injury in the pre-season and he is at the flat minimum. The Lineup Builders will love him and will be pretty chalky. With the suspension to Lachie Hunter, Jong should get run through the middle.
Callum Ward – M – $5,600: Ward is another player coming back from a long injury layoff with a knee injury and is another at terrific value. The Giants midfield is star studded so proceed with caution in terms of Time on Ground % for Ward. However $5.6K for Ward is $1,400 too cheap for his ability and once again will be a popular target.
Rowan Marshall – R – $7,200: Marshall is in a dream Ruck matchup against the Bulldogs Tim English, who is dead set last in containing opposition Ruck fantasy points. However, Marshall shares the Ruck duties with Paddy Ryder which has capped his ceiling potential. Callum Sinclair ($5,600) for the Swans represents value against the Bombers Tom Bellchambers.
Nick Haynes – D – $5,500: Haynes is the most underrated defender in the league and is also a fantasy beast at a cheap price. His ability to take Marks in the back half (37 Marks in his last 4 games) equals great fantasy points. Always in consideration.
Patrick Lipinski – F/M – $6,100: Lipinksi like Jong, will spend more time in the midfield with Hunter out of the side. With Forward availability, Lipinski returns to the side after early concussion issues in the preseason and will look to cement his place for the season.
