DraftKings has announced its 2017 Fantasy Baseball World Championship (FBWC), a live final event on Saturday, August 26, 2017 in Denver, CO.

There will be 125 qualifying teams competing for a share of $4 million dollars, with first place earning the $500,000 top prize. Each package is valued at $37,500 and includes a trip for two to Denver, CO, a FBWC Ticket, $1,000 cash credit for roundtrip airfare and transportation, and a three-night hotel stay (August 24 – August 27) in Denver. The live baseball final will include MLB games played on Saturday, August 26.

Entrants are selected through a series of qualifier contests run by DraftKings between April 14 – August 11. Contests will range in buy-in size, allowing all grinders a chance to qualify up to five times (the limit for this final). Qualifier contests will range between $33 – $5,000, while satellite contests will range between $3 – $100.
