DraftKings Announces FBWC
Right on the onset of the baseball season, DraftKings announced the details of their MLB live final. In a unexpected turn, the FBWC will take place in Toronto, Canada on August 27th and will feature a $4,000,000 prize pool with a cool $1,000,000 going to first place.
There will be 160 seats up for grabs with qualifier buyins ranging from $3.00 to $1,000, and satellites for as little as $0.25. The most an individual player may qualify for the event is eight times, with each seat being valued at $29,700 which includes a three-night stay in Toronto and VIP-style events.
With the qualifiers being held this early in the MLB season (first one on Monday, April 4th), they are definitely worth a shot at attacking because early season DFS is generally easier scratch a profit in than later in the season, as I’m sure many of you are finding out with all the NBA madness.
And it certainly will be a nice breath of fresh air not to have to be glued to a phone or computer right up until the lock of each slate in case a player is scratched with general soreness (salutes).
