DraftKings Lineup Walkthrough - Week 15
Notorious gives a detailed walkthrough of how he built his main cash-game lineup on DraftKings for NFL Week 15. He’ll offer his entire lineup and explain the thought process behind each pick.
Week 15 NFL DraftKings Lineup

Mark Sanchez – There was some last-minute scrambling on my lineup this week. I had Ben Roethliberger locked in as my cash game starter, but once DeAngelo Williams was ruled out, I moved things around to get Jonathan Stewart into my lineup. Sanchez was my favorite value at quarterback this week. He played well against the Cowboys on Thanksgiving and this game is expected to be a much closer game, which could mean a more pass-heavy attack from the Eagles.
Jeremy Hill – The Bengals running back situation has been frustrating this season. Both Hill and Bernard have played well when they have been the featured back, but they have been stuck in a time-split over the last couple of weeks. The Bengals came out this week and announce Hill the starter. Most are expecting Hill to see around 20 touches this week, which is a steal for a player that only costs $4,300. We’ve seen what he can do with a full workload (Jaguars, Saints).
Jonathan Stewart – The fate of my lineup is in his hands this week. With DeAngelo Williams ruled out, I wanted to get Stewart in my lineups as he has looked great over the last few weeks and has a terrific matchup against the Buccaneers. The Buccaneers are graded out as having the 2nd worst run defense in the NFL (PFF) and they have allowed the 7th most fantasy points to opposing running backs this season. It also doesn’t hurt that Cam Newton is out this week, which could lead to a run-heavy game plan for the Panthers.

Roddy White & Harry Douglas – With the news that Julio Jones would sit out, I knew that I wanted to target either White or Douglas this week. Both should see an uptick in targets and production. I couldn’t decide between the two, so I figured I’d take them both. Typically cash games require a score of 150+ each week, so using a 3x salary value system, these two receivers only need to combine for 30 fantasy point for them to reach value. That’s basically 14 catches for 160 yards. I fully expect the duo to reach and exceed that mark this week against the Steelers, who are graded out as having the 7th worst pass coverage this season (PFF).
Jeremy Maclin – It feels odd fading Marquess Wilson this week. It wasn’t that I didn’t like him at min-salary, it was just one of those times where I couldn’t find a way to get him into my lineup. I do have Wilson on my FD lineup though, so I do have a good amount of exposure to him. As far as Maclin goes, he is a legitimate WR1 in a high-flying offense that is facing an average secondary at best. Let’s hope that the Cowboys stack the box and try to shut down LeSean McCoy this week.
Jimmy Graham – You have to be thinking, “Noto, are you really falling for the Graham trap again this week??” After three weeks, I think I’ve officially met the definition of insanity – doing the same thing over and over again, expecting a different result. Call me crazy, but I’m expecting a different result this week! The Bears have been awful at defending tight ends this season and this is a must-win game for the Saints.
Matt Forte – Most experts had Forte listed behind Bell, Murray, Foster, and Charles this week, but on a full PPR site, I don’t know how you can’t list Forte as the top overall RB this week. He already sees a ton of targets each week and that number may go up with Brandon Marshall out. I’m expecting 100+ yards from scrimmage, 5+ receptions, and at least a touchdown in a very favorable matchup against the Saints.
Patriots D/ST – There were quite a few defenses that I liked this week, the Patriots were the cheapest of the bunch. They have been playing terrific on the defensive side of the ball and are expected to win big at home against the Dolphins. I love targeting defenses that are expected to be playing with a lead.
