DraftKings Showdown IDP Analysis: Conference Championships

A few weeks back, DraftKings introduced a new concept called the “Showdown” where players choose four offensive players and two defensive players within a salary cap for their DFS roster. This brought in a whole new world of analysis and research not before seen in daily fantasy sports – individual defensive players (“IDP”) and while there has been much talk about it within the context of seasonal fantasy leagues that included IDP, studying IDP when tied to a player salary requires some deeper thought, especially when it comes to roster construction.
