DraftKings US Open Millionaire Maker Recap
Huge congratulations to mmcconn, who put together a near perfect lineup that had the top six finishers in the 2016 US Open to win the DraftKings Millionaire Maker by an overwhelming margin. A million dollars is headed his way.
Here’s a look at mmcconn’s amazing winning lineup as well as the final top 10.

Here’s a look at the current standings as we head into the last three holes:
7:05 pm EST
Dustin Johnson, with the penalty looming, is struggling and has lost sole possession of the lead. That hasn’t changed anything, however, for mmcconn though who continues to lead by over 10 points (currently 14.5 points over ahjones). Less than 5 holes left until we find out if he is our million dollar winner.
6:45 pm EST
Mmcconn’s lead is back in double digits at 13 over DrewDowns24 and 16 over ahjones. Everyone else is more than 25 points behind. There is an interesting scenario in play now with a potential one stroke penalty that might be assessed to current leader Dustin Johnson at the end of the round. If he’s not more than two strokes up it could cause a swing in our standings.

Jason Day is single handedly making this Milly Maker interesting as he has cut mmcconn’s lead down to single digits. DrewDowns24 is now just 8.5 points behind and if Day can continue to make a move he has a shot at taking the lead.

A Jason Day eagle has moved DrewDowns24 into second place and ahjones moves back up to third place as well. Mmcconn doesn’t have Day so his lead shrinks a little to 18 points.

Not much to report here as mmcconn is on cruise control to that million dollar first place prize. His lead sits at 21 as Kgarrick44 continues to hold onto second place (which would be worth a nice chunk of change – $200K to be precise).

Mmcconn is still cruising along as his lead has now topped 20 points. KGarrick44 is the closest competitor but has little shot of moving into the top spot and has his work cut out to hold onto second. Here’s a look at the current top 10:

Mmcconn continues to lead and has added two more points (16 total) to his lead over ahjones who continues to be our second place player. There is no player in the top 10 that has as many PHR as our current leader so they are going to need some collapses from his current stable of golfers in order to have a shot at catching him.

As I expected on the last update, mmcconn has taken the lead and has a nice little cushion of 14 points over ahjones. Gregopaq and ajjcking have fallen out of the top five. Mmcconn’s lineup is going to be a hard one to surpass if current form holds as his lineup currently contains the top six golfers in the standings including an incredible round going from Jim Furyk (at just 4.1% ownership). Here’s a look at his lineup and the current top 10:

Gregopaq has moved back into the lead – he holds a 9 point cushion over ajjcking. Mmcconn, however, is lurking in fourth place with 87 PHR with all six of his golfers in the top 10 currently so those two will have their work cut out for them to hold off his lineup.

The leaders have teed off now so we have 3-4 hours of excitement in store for us. Ajjcking has taken the lead by the slimmest of margins (0.5 points) over gregopaq with all six of his golfers being in the top 20.

Brooks Koepka is on fire, currently -6 for the day, and he’s seen on all the top teams currently at 19.2% ownership. Gregopaq has moved into the top spot and has current leader Lowry and second place contender Dustin Johnson on his roster. He’ll have to hold off some teams, however, that have more of the top 10 then he currently does.
