DSBC Preview Pt. 1: Two Spots Open + Current Finalists

In the blink of an eye, 38 of the 40 DSBC spots have been qualified for and filled. Don’t get down on yourself just yet, though, there are still two qualifiers remaining that are affordable for even the lower end of the bankrolls. On Sunday, Qualifier #39 will go down for $11 and then the final DSBC Qualifier will be a $22 event on Tuesday, August 7th. The Finals Summary

The finals for the DSBC have a really cool format that all leads to a 12-man head-to-head bracket showdown with the $35,000 first place prize on the line. First, there is the 2-day preliminary event where all 40 qualifiers battle it out to earn one of the Top 12 aggregate scores. Users will make rosters based on the lineups for each Monday, August 13th and Tuesday, August 14th. The total score from these separate rosters will decide the final 12. The payouts for players 13-40 look like this:

The top-12 players advance to a bracket head-to-head challenge to settle it all. A sample “unofficial RotoGrinders” bracket is below with the winnings from each finishing position on the image. The seeding for the 12-man finals is decided based on your aggregate score in the 2-day Preliminary Event that took out 28 of the 40 finalists.

As you can see, it is going to be an incredible amount of fun to follow this bracket as each finalist battles rigorously for their shot at the $35,000 first place prize. It’s certainly gonna get interesting.
