FanDuel Announces 2015 WFFC: $3 Million Top Prize
This upcoming NFL season will be the biggest in daily fantasy sports history, as the industry’s growth will provide more opportunities for massive tournaments and huge prizes. If Week 1’s huge contests weren’t enough proof, now FanDuel has announced the details of their NFL live final, and the numbers are simply staggering.
The 2015 World Fantasy Football Championship will feature a 120-entry field with a grand prize of $3,000,000. Second and third place finishers will both receive seven-digit payouts ($1.5 million to second, $1 million to third), and all 120 entrants will receive a prize of some sort.

The live final will take place in Las Vegas at the Cosmopolitan on December 13th, and every live finalist will get to live a life of luxury in Vegas as they prepare for a weekend full of unique experiences and a sweat of a lifetime for these huge cash prizes. The three-day event will include a welcome reception, special experiences on the Saturday before the main event, and a viewing party during Sunday’s games.
FanDuel will limit any one user to four seats in the WFFC, meaning no one will hold more than 4% of the total field for the live final.
Qualifiers start Week 1 at every imaginable price point, with $2, $5, $25, $100 and $300 contests all awarding seats to the live final in December.
