FanDuel Announces 2017 World Fantasy Football Championship
We’re past the quarter pole for the 2017 NFL season and FanDuel has announced their 2017 live final – a $2.5 million dollar contest, the World Fantasy Football Championship (“WFFC”) that will take place in Los Angeles on December 10th (NFL Week 14). In conjunction, FanDuel will be running a $4 million dollar online championship contest where the winner will take home a million dollars.
The WFFC will see 75 seats be awarded with initial buy-ins as low as $5 and ranging up to $5,000. First place in the contest will collect $500,000 with a guaranteed payout of $10,000 for all who take place in the live final. The top five will all have a six-figure payday. Satellites and Qualifiers
There will be weekly qualifiers to the WFFC on FanDuel with five spots already awarded last week (including two to the DFS legend Condia) and another five plus available in the tournament lobby right now with one having a low buy-in of just $5.
