FanDuel Announces 2019 World Fantasy Baseball Championship

The baseball season is well underway and FanDuel just spiced things up with the announcement of their 2019 World Fantasy Baseball Championship. This year, 125 of the best players in DFS will qualify for this awesome live final and compete for $2,000,000 in prizes, with the champion walking away with $500,000!

The event will take place in sunny San Diego from August 22nd through August 24th. Upon arriving in southern California, the contestants will be greeted with a reception at Moonshine Flats, where they’ll witness a surprise live country music performance. The following day, the finalist and his or her guest will head to Petco Park to take in the scenes as the Red Sox battle the Padres on Friday night. During the game, they’ll also compete for their share of $50,000 in the MLB Single Game Championship.

On Saturday, the finalists will finally set their lineups for the World Fantasy Baseball Championship. Once settled, the fun and suspense continue at the Sunburn Pool Party at the Hard Rock Hotel, where the contestants will have access to the VIP World Fantasy Baseball Championship viewing party. At the end of the night, someone will be crowned the 2019 World Fantasy Baseball Champion and line their pockets with $500,000!

Do you have what it takes? Don’t watch from the sidelines. Qualifiers can be found in the FanDuel lobby now!
