FanDuel Golf Now Live

Good news PGA fans, FanDuel has officially launched its newest sport: fantasy golf.

On FanDuel Golf, you draft a total of 8 golfers: 4 golfers for Rounds 1-2, and 4 different golfers for Rounds 3-4. Your entire lineup (all 8 golfers) locks at the start of Round 1.

Golfers will be awarded points and accessed penalties based on their performance. Below is the scoring guide:

Even though your players primarily earn points for their play in the rounds you select them for, you also get rewarded if any of your players – regardless of the round you play them in – finish in the real-world tournament’s top 25 leaderboard:

Lastly, FanDuel scoring will incorporate bonus points for four scenarios:

Contests are now available in the FanDuel lobby. Please note that golf contests are currently not available to New York residents. The New York Gaming Commission has not yet authorized fantasy sports operators to launch paid contests for sports that were not offered prior to November 2015. Until the New York Gaming Commission finalizes the regulations with a process that allows FanDuel to offer new sports to users located in the state, FanDuel will block paid entries in new sports. FanDuel is working on resolving this issue, and you can read the official statement from FanDuel on their website.
