The wait is finally over baseball fans, FanDuel MLB is now live!

This season, FanDuel is introducing several new changes to its baseball product. Below is a detailed look at these changes.

Late Swap

FanDuel is launching a late swap feature to give users the flexibility to edit players right up until lineup lock. Late swap will allow users to react to late injury or weather news. The unlocked padlock icon will indicate that it’s a late swap slate.

Non-Late Swap slates will also be available, so users will have options to choose from based on their preference.

Updated Scoring

Quality Start has been added as a pitcher stat and will earn you 4 points. A Quality Start is when a pitcher completes at least six innings and permits no more than three earned runs. Additionally, a pitcher Win has been reduced to 6 points (previously it was 12 points). A pitcher is allowed to meet both requirements, meaning a pitcher can earn 10 points if they receive both a Quality Start and Win. This change was made so a pitcher’s FanDuel performance is less dependent on the amount of offense he receives.

Friends Mode

This season, FanDuel is bringing Friends Mode to baseball. Friends Mode gives you all the rivalry of your season-long fantasy baseball league, with none of the hassles of day-to-day team management. Plus, in Friends Mode, you pick a new team every week, so a season-ending injury will never end your season.

Friends Mode is now more customizable than ever, so you’ve got the flexibility to build your league the way you want it. Gather your crew, set up your league, and get ready to start winning bragging rights (and cash) all season long.

Contests are now posted in the lobby, and our MLB Premium content is available for purchase! Good luck.
