Welcome back, Single Entry Series! Oh, how we’ve missed you.

This week’s entry fee is just $5, and that means we’ll have to get past plenty of lineups in order to reach the tippy top. This article will discuss a crucial element to maximizing your chances: Projected Ceilings.

What is a Ceiling?

This sounds like a stupid question, but let me explain. The ceiling isn’t the most a player could possibly score. We know all kinds of stuff could happen to produce a crazy, unusual, and very unlikely performance for just about anyone. Ceiling attempts to tell us the top end of a player’s range we can expect reasonably. Think of all the possible outcomes that could happen, cut off the highest 15%, and the highest remaining number is theoretically his ceiling.

How is it Determined?
