FantasyAces Weekly Preview
Week 5 is now in the books, and we are almost at the halfway point for the NFL season. I’ve been talking a lot about the FantasyAces Live finals a lot, and this week I get to show you what I’m talking about. Here’s the video from the FantasyAces Baseball Championship.
Congrats to FantasyAces Incentives writer, Nicole Valencia, for taking down a live final seat for the NFL Championship. Also, Congrats to Salukifan and WhiskeyTavon4 for also taking down a seat last night.
We touched on the Live College Football Championship last week, and like I said then, it’s a 1 in 13 chance at $40,000. The live final takes place on November 21st and has a $100,000 prize pool.
College Football
Congrats to STLCardinals84 for taking down a seat to the Live Final last weekend. A lot of exciting tournaments on FantasyAces this weekend. The $10,000 Heisman is a $27.50 buy-in contest with a $1,500 top prize, and it’s paying out 75 spots.
There’s another FantasyAces College Football Championship qualifier this weekend. It’s a $535 buy-in, with only 30 people, and that’s some of the best odds to win a live final. They will be running satellites all week through their MLB contest.
NFL Week 6
There’s a lot of stuff going on Week 6 across the industry, and FantasyAces has a lot going on as well. They’re running two qualifiers and giving away three seats to the FantasyAces Football Championship in Vegas.
The FantasyAces Football Championship (FAFC) is a $500,000 live final. It will take place on December 13 at the Palms in Las Vegas. There will be 40 finalists competing for the $100,000 first place prize. You can find all the details for the FAFC here.
So I’ve been getting a lot of questions about Salary Pro, and wanted to touch on what I like to do. This past weekend is a perfect example going after the full 30 points and it just not working out.
Above is a lineup I used this weekend in the $5 Salary Pro GPP. I ran a single entry and turned $5 into $25 with this team. I felt there was good value in Dixon, Aiken, Snead, and Gates. Putting this team together, I had all intent of getting the full 30 points. I don’t always go for the full 30 points, but this week there was a lot of value to make it easy.
The user, Abrasumente1021, decided to only take a couple points, and it paid off for him. His low-owned options of Dalton and Eifert really came up huge for him. I just wanted to give an example that you can play the Salary Pro contest like other GPPs, and get extra points if you have salary left over. I still prefer going for the points where you feel there is a lot of value. It didn’t work out for me this time, but I still have had more success doing this in the long run.
If you have any questions about the FantasyAces contest, please leave them in the comments section below. I will answer them as fast as I can.
