FantasyFeud Announces NHL Faceoff Challenge!
FantasyFeud’s MoneyBall Challenge during the NBA season has been a personal favorite of mine and they are striking a similar tune with their 50/50 NHL Faceoff Challenge to run throughout this shortened 2013 schedule. Overview of the Faceoff Challenge
There will be 128 qualifiers throughout the NHL season were players can qualify into the $5000 Faceoff Challenge. The Faceoff Championship starts on April 15th and runs through a 7-stage 50/50 contest. The 128 original qualifiers will battle it out through 7 rounds of 50/50s until a champion is crowned. Full qualifier details below but basically all you need to do is win a designated GPP and you collect your prize money as well as a free ticket to this event!
Here are the 50/50 Faceoff Challenge Payouts:
- 1st Place – $3,000
- Finalist – $1,000
- 3-4 – $250
- 5-8 – $125

How to Qualify
There are four ways to qualify for the 128-man finale:
1) Win any of the NHL Faceoff Challenge GPPs offered each week (7 per week)
2) Win the NHL BRAWL Freeroll taking place on Saturday’s during the season
3) Place in the top 5 of the NHL Faceoff Freeroll on March 2rd or April 13th
4) Win 1 of the 18 Wild Card seats offered throughout the season
