FantasyFeud Launches New Game Type for NFL!
The team at FantasyFeud has a new game style they’re breaking out for the 2013 NFL Season. Similar to how office pool NFL Survivor leagues work, where you pick one team to win every week, these survivor leagues will force you to pick one player at each position each week.
The Rules of Survivor Leagues
There are THREE buy-in levels of survivor leagues that will begin in NFL Week 1:
- $1 Buy-In, 1120 Max Entrants
- $22 Buy-In, 112 Max Entrants
- $55 Buy-In, 48 Max Entries (3 per person)
Multi-entry for these is available. Be sure to check out more details on multi-entries on FF’s FAQ Page
You pick one player from the three main positions:
1) Quarterback
2) Running Back
3) Wide Receiver
Once you use a player, you may no longer use him for the remainder of the season. So if you use Adrian Peterson for Week 1, you can’t use him again. The aggregate score for your three players will determine who advances.
Each week, 1/16th of the field will be reduced. It all leads up to Week 16 when a Survivor Champion will be determined.
The best thing I can equate this to are NFL Survivor Leagues that many offices have where you have to pick a winner each week and can only use each team once. Except this comes with a fantasy football based twist!

So if you love daily fantasy football and want to try out a new style of play, this may be the perfect fit for you. Last year, FantasyFeud broke out the season-long daily leagues including their Field of Dreams game. This year it’s Survivor games which are sure to bring a fun spin on the traditional daily fantasy football model.
