Tournament Preview
I hope everyone enjoyed the Legacy Shootout two weeks ago because we return to the Legacy Golf Resort again this week. The only difference is that this event is a “Classic” rather than a “Shootout” and three rounds instead of two. There are 75 golfers in the field and there will be a cut after the second round of play. In an interview a few days ago, Dylan Wu said the course is playing firm and fast and that it’s in great shape. Golfers need to take advantage of the four par fives and there should be plenty of birdies and eagles. Nicolo Galletti won here two weeks ago with a score of 12-under par in two rounds. At 6,800 yards, this is an extremely short course, which brings everyone into play (not that we have driving distance statistics to use anyway).
