Naap, Cal Bubble FFFC, PrimeTime Wins Big: GPP Recap for 10/18
Week 6 in the NFL provided some lower scores than we have seen in the past, but that didn’t take away any of the excitement in the guaranteed prize pool tournaments. The biggest of them all, The Fan Duel Fantasy Football Championship provided incredible drama as Kiets, behind the NY Jets defense on Monday night, came from far back to take the qualifying championship seat and free trip to Vegas. Naapstermann finished with a close 2nd place (less than 1 point behind) but still walks away with $700. Rotogrinders own Cal nearly made it back to Vegas for consecutive years, but finished a little bit short with a 4th place finish.
A few Grinders were multiple winners this week as Primetime 420 took in $2400 with 1st and 2nd place finishes in the 4K & 5K guaranteed tournaments on Drafstreet. On Fan Duel, Mouhaned finished as the runner up in the 10K bomb and 12K blitz and took in $3400 in total winnings for those leagues. The #1 ranked Grinder Kaiserolll13 also had a nice lineup on Daily Joust this Sunday finishing 1st and 2nd in two of their NFL guaranteed tournaments.
