GPP Recap for October 18, 2011
Despite some injuries to key fantasy performers, many RotoGrinders members still managed to have great weeks in the Guaranteed Prize Pool tournaments. TheRayRay found himself atop the standings in the Fan Duel Fantasy Football Championship qualifying tournament and earned himself a trip to Vegas for a shot at the $75,000 top prize.
Fan Duels first ever $270 buy in tournament “The Blowout” had one of the lowest winning scores in all daily fantasy. Bwolfe07 took first and a prize of $2500 with a score of 118.
Other Grinders with nice weeks included Devo who cashed in a few GPP’s on DraftDay including 1st in “The Quarter” ($860) & 2nd in “The Frenzy” (438). Potentpick had a nice week winning tournaments on both Daily Joust and Fan Duel.
Headchopper continued his dominance in college football in winning the Dark Prince Tournament on Daily Joust. It will be interesting to see if can carry his GPP tournament success over to Draftstreet this Saturday.
