HixvilleHunk Regains Top 5 GLB Ranking
Well last week I decided to take a brief vacation from the entire daily fantasy sports world. Joined only a couple of leagues, didn’t put together any blogs, and skipped out on this rankings article. Granted you’d have a tough time convincing me not to trade a week at the beach in place of all this action all year long, but still I missed it. The daily drama of meaningless rebounds ruining your night, goalies giving up shutouts with just seconds left on the clock or watching your night go down the drain as some kid in your league somehow put together the perfect lineup. I can’t decide what’s worse, taking a bad beat in daily fantasy or being unable to sleep because your pale Irish skin was never meant for exposure to sun. Regardless, I’m back and ready to update all of the breaking news among the best fantasy players around, even if the sunburn has caused me to look like a snake shedding it’s skin.
Headline Story: Rooks19 Moves Up 32 Places, Stands Just One Spot Outside The Top 50
The biggest move of the week belongs to Rooks19 who has been slowly climbing the leaderboard and finally exploded over the past 14 days to find himself just outside the top 50. Standing at 51st overall, Rooks19 rifled through during my absence and was able to move up a whopping 32 places. For all of you math wizards out there, that means he was all the way down at 83rd before this update. Not only was there a fair amount of money won during that span by this rising star, but he also was able to take down the headline of the week for our rankings update. Welcome to an elite club Rooks19.
Top Ten Update: Hixville Hunk Reclaims His Spot In The Top Five
Two players moved up this week in the top ten. Hixvillehunk and BrettFavre444 moved up one spot each to find themselves at fifth and sixth place respectively. Both players displaced the recently on fire Ohmsy in their efforts to improve in the standings. As I reiterate each and every week, the higher you climb up the leaderboard, the more difficult it is to keep moving. Obviously, as you get better the players you are trying to beat out are much better. So any time there is movement in the top ten it is reason for congratulations. Great work to HixvilleHunk and BrettFavre444 on these accomplishments. I’m sure neither of them are done making moves as baseball season comes around.

Movers And Shakers: Big Leaderboard Jumps/New Players Over The Past 14 Days
As expected, the week off allowed for some more players to make big jumps than would usually be seen over a seven day span. Four players made leaps of ten places or more, including the a fore mentioned Rooks19. SocrDave and Jl9000 tied for the third largest move of the week, moving up ten places to #32 and #66 respectively. Both players used big NBA winnings to supplant some of their fierce competitors and we in RG Nation look forward to seeing what they bring to the table next. The second largest jump of the week belongs to TeamSleep who woke up and went from being a new player on the leaderboard three weeks ago to cementing a top 100 spot for weeks to come. Standing in 79th overall now, TeamSleep moved up 16 places with a monster couple of weeks. Congrats to these guys on those accomplishments.
On the new player front, there were two guys who have earned the recognition of being new members to the top 100. Atown01 and LegendaryMo sneak into the top 100 and stand at #98 and #100 respectively. Tough spots to be in for newcomers, as these are some of the easiest places to be knocked out from. All that means is they need to call upon their expert daily fantasy gods to help them continue their success and move up the board to a more concrete spot. So that wraps up another week of the rankings update. I’m going to rush back to CVS and buy another large bottle of aloe to soothe my burning skin, but be sure to check back in with us next week.
