Sunday’s 12-game NFL slate will begin bright and early with an international matchup between the Jacksonville Jaguars and Chicago Bears. Both teams are coming off of a win in Week 5 and will look to keep the positive momentum rolling overseas.

The Jaguars and Bears will kickoff from Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London at 9:30 a.m. ET.

If looking to wager on the player prop market for Jaguars vs. Bears, we have 3 prop leans to consider for Sunday!

Jaguars vs. Bears – NFL Player Props

Caleb Williams OVER 33.5 Pass Attempts (-105, DraftKings)

Caleb Williams has gone under this market number by a significant margin in back-to-back weeks entering play on Sunday, but that likely had to do a lot with game script. The Bears took a 7-6 lead in the 1st half against the Rams and then never trailed again, allowing them to run the football more than they had in previous games. Last weekend, Chicago took an early 14-7 lead over Carolina and never looked back in a 26-point victory. Assuming we see a more competitive game script between the Jaguars and Bears this weekend, Williams is likely to be forced to throw the ball at a higher frequency. Williams had 37 pass attempts in a narrow loss to the Texans and 52 pass attempts in a narrow loss to the Colts, so there is proof of concept here.

Evan Engram UNDER 39.5 Receiving Yards (-115, BetMGM)

Evan Engram hasn’t played since Week 1 against the Dolphins due to injury. He gets a tough assignment in his return to action, facing a Chicago defense that ranks 11th-best in DVOA against opposing tight ends so far this fall. The Bears haven’t allowed more than 40 receiving yards in a game to a tight end yet in 2024. Considering that Engram has been limited at practice this week, there’s reason to believe he’s still not 100% healthy. If he’s on any type of workload restriction, his chances of having a strong game against the Bears only diminishes.

Travis Etienne UNDER 43.5 Rushing Yards (-115, DraftKings)

It’s safe to say that Travis Etienne is no longer a workhorse running back for the Jaguars. In 2023, Etienne had 9 games with 16+ rush attempts, but he hasn’t been given more than 13 rush attempts in any game so far in 2024. Last weekend, he had only 6 carries for 17 rushing yards against the Colts. Through 5 weeks this season, Etienne ranks 24th among qualified running backs in yards after contact per carry, but he is losing touches to Tank Bigsby, who leads the NFL in that metric. Bigsby is averaging nearly twice as many yards per carry as Etienne and has a higher rate of explosive runs as well. This matchup favors Bigsby’s running style, which could lead to Etienne having a light role out of the backfield once again.
