Primetime Parlay: Jets vs. Raiders Same Game Parlay Picks
Last year, ScoresAndOdds’ ParlayIQ tool helped create a variety of fun same-game parlay tickets throughout the NFL season. Through thousands of simulations, the tool examines the potential value various betting lines offer on sports betting apps. Along with the simulations, we will examine stats, roster news, trends, player props, and betting odds across sports betting sites to find the best price for our same-game parlay ticket. For this article, we build a same-game parlay for the New York Jets versus the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday Night Football.
In what feels like a potential elimination game, the Jets head to Las Vegas to play the Raiders on Sunday Night Football. The Jets did not score a touchdown on Monday night against the Chargers. The Raiders, under interim coach Antonio Pierce, found victory last week behind the legs of Josh Jacobs. Despite some big names in this game, Sunday Night Football leaves a lot to be desired. Let’s sweeten the deal with a same-game parlay on FanDuel Sportsbook.

Jets vs. Raiders Same Game Parlay
At the time of this writing, the New York Jets are one-point road favorites in Las Vegas on Sunday night. Per SAO, spread betting tickets and money side with the Raiders, as 66% of the betting handle was placed on the Las Vegas side throughout the week. The implied game total is a paltry 36.5 points and the number isn’t low enough to keep bettors away: 99% of money bet on the total rests with the under.
Allen Lazard is likely to suit up for the Jets but the offensive line isn’t. The Jets will play without Duane Brown, Billy Turner, and Connor McGovern — likely starting a third-string lineman at right tackle. The issues plaguing the Jets’ offense and Zach Wilson are likely to continue, as the quarterback will likely see plenty of Maxx Crosby. The Raiders LT Kolton Miller is doubtful, while Marcus Peters is questionable for tonight’s game.
The Raiders, with an interim head coach, changed plenty ahead of last week’s beatdown of the New York Giants. Interim head coach Antonio Pierce started Aidan O’Connell, as the Raiders seem happy to get a glimpse of the future. Further, Josh Jacobs was finally featured against the Giants, running the football 26 times for 98 yards and 2 touchdowns. With the Jets’ defense one of the best in the league, we wouldn’t be shocked to see another helping of Jacobs to keep pressure off of the rookie quarterback.
Let’s take a look at pertinent offensive rankings.
New York Offense
30th — 16.5 PPG
30th — 4.6 YPP
30th — 6.0 Passing YPA
5th — 4.7 Rushing YPA
Las Vegas Offense
26th — 17.3 PPG
25th — 4.7 YPP
19th — 6.8 Passing YPA
31st — 3.2 Rushing YPA
The aforementioned Jets’ defense is third in the league with respect to yards per play, only allowing 4.6 yards per play on defense. The Raiders are in the middle of the pack. Both teams are in the top 10 of the NFL with respect to passing yards per play on defense. With that said, both teams are in the bottom ten of the league in opposing rushing yards per attempt. Running the football seems like the lesser of two evils for both teams.
For the Jets, running the football might be the only way. Without an offensive line, Zach Wilson will be tasked with making quick decisions all game. Making quick decisions has not been Wilson’s strong suit this season, as the third-year quarterback continues to seem like a deer in headlights under immense pressure.
The Raiders, with a defensive-minded interim coach, are likely going to run the football often tonight with Josh Jacobs. Knowing the Jets will struggle to move the ball, the Raiders should not feel the need to take any unnecessary chances on Sunday night. Look for plenty of calls for Josh Jacobs and Breece Hall and potentially a very fast clock.
What does ParlayIQ think about tonight’s contest? Let’s see what our tool gleans from thousands of simulations.
Same Game Parlay Picks for Sunday Night Football
- Jacobs Over 65.5 Rushing Yards
- Hall Over 20.5 Receiving Yards
- Jacobs Anytime Touchdown Scorer
Joshua Jacobs Over 65.5 Rushing Yards
So do you let Aidan O’Connell throw the ball 30-40 times, or do you feed your big athletic running back 25 times? Against this pass defense, give me as much Josh Jacobs as the Jets can take.
ParlayIQ and I expect the Raiders to use Jacobs a lot on Sunday night. While the efficiency might not be great, the volume of work should be more than enough to exceed this rushing prop. Against a pressure-happy Giants’ defense, Jacobs saw 26 touches. We should expect the same for an even better Jets’ defense. The New York defense has given up some big plays to opposing running backs this season. We shouldn’t be surprised if Jacobs tires this defense out.
We open here with a prop I think I might bet individually.
Breece Hall Over 20.5 Receiving Yards
I don’t know what to do with the Jets. With no offensive line and a questionable leader at quarterback, Breece Hall seems likely to handle much of the offensive duties.
Hall has shown plenty of explosive plays this season as a pass catcher. With Maxx Crosby and company putting the pressure on Zach Wilson, Hall will likely be a safety valve for his quarterback. The Jets will design some plays to get the ball in Hall’s hands. Hall might only need one catch to get over this total, but I would expect he will see multiple opportunities to make plays.
After these two, I don’t know how much I love the rest of the offerings.
Joshua Jacobs Anytime Touchdown Scorer
Whenever I cannot find a prop I love for a third or fourth leg, I comb through the touchdowns. Given our first two legs of this parlay, ParlayIQ features a Jacobs touchdown in 62% of those simulations.
With the Raiders likely committed to the run game, Aidan O’Connell will be handing the ball off all evening around the goal line. Look for Jacobs to see a couple of rushing opportunities in the red zone tonight.
