Jets vs. Steelers – NFL Player Props

Najee Harris OVER 54.5 Rushing Yards (-114, Bally)

Najee Harris has been enjoying a strong start to the 2024 season for the Steelers. Entering the weekend, Harris has the 5th-most carries and 11th-most rushing yards of any player in the NFL. He had 106 rushing yards last week against the Raiders and has another good matchup this evening against a New York run defense that ranks 20th in EPA/play and 28th in success rate so far this season. Harris should be plenty active once again, giving him every opportunity to get to the over.

Davante Adams UNDER 4.5 Receptions (+105, FanDuel)

Davante Adams isn’t a lock to secure 5 receptions in normal circumstances, and these certainly aren’t normal circumstances. Adams was acquired via trade earlier this week, so he hasn’t even had a full week of practice with his new teammates. In 2023, Adams had 5 games with fewer than 5 receptions, and that was when he was playing in an offense with virtually no competition for touches. Now he has Breece Hall and Garrett Wilson as two co-stars in an offense that has a lot of players to feed. At plus money, this is a worthwhile stab.

Davante Adams UNDER 58.5 Receiving Yards (-110, FanDuel)

This is simply a line that has too much potential value on the under. Davante Adams is one of the best wide receivers to set foot on an NFL field in the last 20 years, but he hasn’t played a single snap for the Jets and he hasn’t played a game for anyone since Week 3 due to a hamstring injury. Adams is incredibly talented, but there is a real risk of him not seeing a full workload in his first game with his new team, and he might not have his full route tree open this week even though he has some level of familiarity with Aaron Rodgers and this system.
