Slate Overview
Once again we get another two-game slate on Thursday with eStar taking on Dominus Esports and Invictus Gaming squaring off against Team WE. I am most interested in watching IG against WE as both teams’ aggressive style of play could lead to an especially bloody affair.
Interestingly, betting markets do have eStar listed with the highest team total on the slate (15.5 per map) but I still think IG vs WE is the match with the most upside. Invictus posted the LPL’s best Spring Split record at 14-2 but had a disappointing showing in the playoffs and then failed to record a win in the Mid-Season Cup. I don’t expect IG’s poor recent form to factor into Thursday’s ownership and Gimino’s ownership projections agree as they peg IG as the second-highest owned team on the slate.
