League of Legends LPL DFS Preview: Tuesday, June 23rd

Slate Overview

Well, we saw on Monday that it is possible to win a big GPP on a two-game slate with a unique lineup. You just have to get extremely creative with your lineup builds. User ‘row333’ took home $50K in the $15 entry $150K Shock Blast with a 4 (V5) – 2 (ES) – 1 (RNG) build. What helped make row333’s lineup is the fact that he used the ‘1’ portion of his lineup in the CPT spot where Betty scored 162.6 points. Interestingly, row’s lineup also used two roster spots on a losing team with fenfen and eStar.

In order for non 4-3 builds to be optimal on a two-game slate at least one of the series will need to go to three games. On Tuesday, Invictus vs LGD is the series with the best odds to go to three games and is the series I would target if looking to use a “one-off”. As we saw on Monday, putting a player that’s in your secondary stack (non-four man stack) in your CPT spot is another way to help differentiate your lineup.
