League of Legends LPL/LCK DFS Preview: Friday, July 10th
Slate Overview
Well, the LCK did it again and stole the spotlight. A non-traditional 4 (T1) – 2 (DWG) – 1 (JDG) build with Canyon at CPT helped user ‘RoyalPain21’ ship $25,000. Overall, the LCK has been much more relevant fantasy-wise this split being the key to success on multiple slates. However, the LPL is set to take back center stage on Friday’s slate as Invictus Gaming finds themselves in an ideal matchup against eStar. IG has the highest per map kill total (16.5) total on the slate by a three kill margin and may be itching to find their Spring Split form in which they were second in the league averaging 16.4 kills per game. The biggest question surrounding Friday’s slate is if IG stacks will pay off, or if we need to get a little bit more creative with our large-field tournament strategy.
