Slate Overview

Well, would you look at that? We’re three slates into the LPL/LCK mixed Summer Split and as we all predicted the LCK teams are stealing the spotlight in terms of fantasy relevance. Similar to Thursday’s slate, Friday’s optimal lineup was a 4 (DRX) – 3 (DWG) stack of two LCK teams with Chovy the main star racking up 95.76 DK points.

Most notably, LCK teams are still coming in at significantly lower-ownership in virtually every game format. That’s important because even if you don’t believe that LCK teams will continue to outpace LPL teams in kill totals (I don’t) there is still plenty of value in grabbing exposure to LCK teams in large-field tournaments.

With the return of mixed LPL/LCK slates it’s important to note the differences between each league. Drew Mathews (Redkacheek) did an excellent job of summarizing the differences when he wrote up the Mid-Season Cup at the end of May. Here is an excerpt from his article:
