League of Legends LPL/LCK DFS Preview: Saturday, June 27th
Slate Overview
In yesterday’s article, I said I would be a bit surprised if a four-man T1 stack took down GPPs. Well, a four-man T1 stack did take down GPPs and I am more than a bit surprised considering the circumstance. T1 dropped Game 1 of the series 14-2 and looked like they were going to be a bust even if they were able to pull off a series comeback. Well, bust they did not as they proceeded to rack up 49 kills over the last two games of the series, resulting in Faker CPT, Canna, Teddy, and Effort being in the $15 GPP winning lineup.
Saturday’s slate will be another one centered around massive chalk in Suning squaring off against DMO who has been downright terrible this split. However, after the Suning chalk we should see ownership spread out a bit as the second and third biggest favorites on the slate in Gen. G and eStar each grab some attention. In regards to cash game lineup construction, it’s once again not difficult to pair Suning with another favorite as long as you CPT a SUPPORT or TOP. Tournament strategy is much more interesting and I’ll lay out some of my thoughts below.
