League of Legends LPL/LCK DFS Preview: Thursday, July 9th

Slate Overview

Well, Wednesday was a wild slate. DRX ended up being big-time chalk and ended up losing 2-1 to KT Rolster as massive favorites. As a result, a 4 (IG) – 2 (KT) – 1 (V5 Team) lineup ended up spitting first place in the $15 GPP just two-ways. The key to the winning lineup was a 0.2% SoHwan who ended up starting at Top for KT with Smeb moving to a Support role. SoHwan would have been extremely low-owned even if we knew well in advance that he was starting but at just 0.2% it does show there is value to waking/staying up for starting lineups for the first LCK game. Speaking of which, you may need to do just that for Thursday’s first LCK game as the biggest favorite on the slate in T1 has been known to mix things up from time-to-time.
