THE THREE ACES – Scherzer, Sale, Verlander

These are three of the best and highest strikeout pitchers in the league. They would jump to the top of any slate, and certainly do tonight. Here’s a comparison of the numbers, looking at both 201 and 2018, as well as the combined 2017-2018 numbers of their opponents.

Scherzer 2017 – 34.4% K, 7.1% BB, 46% FB, 26% HH, 2.51 ERA, 2.98 SIERA
