Friday, September 7th
Happy Friday! We’ve got a loaded pitching slate tonight with at least 15 solid options. I’m going to narrow it down, but if you’re mass multi-entering, you could really spread out as far as you want tonight. And the gap between some of the lines I’m drawing are small, so if your research leads you a different way, go with it.
You’ll have Cards in for this article tomorrow, and we will not have this article on NFL Sunday’s, so I’ll be back Monday. Happy Football Season, and Go Browns!
FRIDAY NIGHT AND THE PLETHORA OF PITCHING
ACES, ACES EVERYWHERE
We’ll start with a group of six aces and try to narrow this down and sort it out as best as possible. All six of these pitchers are uber talented (they are good drivers), and every single one can be played in any matchup, so again, while I’ve got to find some way to rank them and sort them, they are all playable. Five of these guys (Five Guys!) have a strikeout rate above 30% since the All-Star Break and none have a walk rate above 8%. On the season, all six have a SIERA below 3.50. This is just a great group of arms.
