Monday, April 16th

I’m sure glad that yesterday was my day off, as that turned into a huge mess with the weather. It’s not unusual or surprising for April weather to be an issue, but that doesn’t make it any less annoying. Fortunately, outside of the early morning game being postponed in Boston, it doesn’t look like weather should be too much of a factor tonight. But, as we saw in Kansas City yesterday, even cold temperatures can cause the occasional problem, so keep your eyes and ears open. Tonight’s 10-game Main Slate is slanted towards the pitchers, with no total over 9. But it’s also not a bunch of lock-down aces, so there should be a reasonable amount of offense that could be spread around evenly. Let’s dig in and see what we have.
