Tuesday, April 9th

Happy Aces Tuesday! We’ve got a 10-game slate tonight with a lot of good pitching on the mound. The offenses stole the show on Monday, but at first glance the runs should be harder to come by tonight.

For my commute to the coffee shop yesterday, I downloaded the latest Demetri Martin recording to listen to. He’s got a similar comedy style of one-liners to the PED-using Red Sox pitcher and it made for a pretty good drive. This is the kind of nonsense that makes me happy:

“I’m going to open an optical store and make the sign really blurry”
“One type of restaurant that should deliver, but doesn’t, is a food truck.”
“I think it’s cool that flash mobs came and went so quickly as a phenomenon.”
“I want to see an opera about laryngitis.”
