Tuesday, July 10th
We have a full 15-game slate on tap tonight, and while there are always countless option on full slates, I see some pretty clear dividing lines for both pitchers and hitters. I’m going to focus on a smaller number of options than usual on this size slate, and will be leaving several games completely out of the equation. The more lineups you build, the more case you can make to spread out, but I always prefer to stay on as narrow a player pool as possible.
TUESDAY NIGHT PITCHING
THE TWO ACES
Justin Verlander vs Oakland
Trevor Bauer vs Cincinnati
These two aces stand out from the crowd and are essentially the same price on all sites. The only other pitcher in their strikeout stratosphere in Coors Field tonight, and not at enough of a discount for me to consider in cash games. The numbers for these two aces are extremely close, and when lined up side by side, there is no clear winner:
