MAIN SLATE
Tonight’s Main Slate features eight games on DraftKings and nine on FanDuel and FantasyDraft, as they are adding in the 2nd game of the Tigers-Pirates doubleheader. At first glance, it’s a well-balanced slate with an ace up top, followed by a few strong pitchers in the mid-tier. With the Coors Field game off the Main Slate, it’s Texas as the first stop for bats, but there are several other spots close behind. Weather is going to play a role again tonight, though hopefully not to the extent that it did last night. There is rain in the forecast in Baltimore and Philadelphia once again, and unfortunately, these are two of the key spots for pitching. We’ll need to be keeping a close eye on the weather later in the day, and for your viewing pleasure, I’ll be on Crunch Time with Kevin Roth tonight at 6:30ET so I’ll be able to give my final thoughts on these pitchers then as we get a final look at the situation.
MAIN SLATE PITCHING
Clayton Kershaw vs Miami – It hasn’t been an easy ride for Kershaw this season, but the fact that we’re disappointed in a guy with a 2.45 ERA and 26.9% strikeout rate with 2.3% walks, shows how truly great he is.
