Wednesday, September 26th

Happy Wednesday! We’ve got a 12-game slate with a solid group of pitchers leading the way and another Coors Field game headlining the bats. There is more rain forecast in the Northeast, so keep an eye on the Roth Report in New York and Boston, but for now, I’ll be writing this as if everything plays cleanly.

There are five days left in the season which means this will be the final regular season start for all of these pitchers. The teams that are in the playoff hunt will still have a normal schedule of rest days for these pitchers, so they are not necessarily limited tonight, but many of them well could be. It will continue to be a lot of guesswork, but I’ll give you my thoughts and if we hear any specific news on any pitch counts, I’ll send it your way.

His consistent success in the NFBC tournaments earned him a prestigious spot in their Hall of Fame. Dave can also strum a mean guitar while carrying a tune, and if you’re lucky, you’ll see him do so on one of his MLB Crunch Time appearances. Follow Dave on Twitter – @DavePotts2
